    Technical Team Lead for Omni-Channel Systems - Head Office

    Description

    • We are seeking a highly skilled technical team lead to join our IT department and oversee the development and maintenance of our omni-channel systems. The Technical Team Lead for Omni-Channel Systems will be responsible for leading a team of technical professionals in the design, development, and maintenance of our company's omni-channel systems. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the technical components required to enable an omni-channel experience, including e-commerce platforms, point of sale systems (POS), order management (OMS) and customer loyalty systems. They will also be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the omni-channel systems are aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

    Responsibilities:

    •  Lead the technical team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our omni-channel systems.
    •  Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications 
    •  Ensure that the omni-channel systems are aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
    •  Collaborate with other teams to ensure successful integration of software solutions
    •  Oversee the integration of various systems to enable a seamless omni-channel experience for customers.
    •  Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, technical specifications and user guides.
    •  Manage team resources and allocate tasks to meet project deadlines 
    •  Identify and mitigate technical risks, including system performance, security, and scalability.
    •  Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommend solutions that align with the company's strategy.

    Requirements:

    •  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, software engineering or a related field 
    •  At least 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role
    •  At least 5 years of experience in designing, developing and implementing omni-channel systems. 
    •  Deep understanding of e-commerce, point of sale, loyalty platforms and related technologies 
    •  Strong technical skills in SQL, Java, Python, or other programming languages 
    •  Experience with software, database, API design patterns and architecture principles 
    •  Excellent communication and leadership skills 
    •  Strong problem-solving and analytical skills 
    •  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
