BA Spec Experience and qualifications

• Minimum Qualification - Relevant Degree in BSc Information Systems, BCom Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analysis, BBusSc or related
• Experience - 3 - 5 years experience in a similar environment, of which 1 - 2 years experience as a Business Analyst
• Knowledge Required - Solution viability assessment and business case orientation
• Basic understanding of developing business cases
• Knowledge of data analysis and interpretation
• In-depth understanding of financial data and banking information systems
• Expert knowledge of Excel
• Experience with SQL and big data
• Working understanding/Experience in Data Quality Management
• Experience with development and interpretation of reports
• Strong knowledge and use of design process tools
• Experience in documenting and implementing complex and/ or multiple projects/ initiatives in line with business vision and strategy Responsibilities
• Participate in conceptualization, design and planning of projects for data flow and process
• Contribute to the development of a budget aligned to operational delivery plans, monitor effectiveness, and report on variances
• Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships
• Continuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriate
• Activities that include understanding the proposed system and legacy system requirements.
• Activities that also includes understanding the Business, Functional and Integration requirements as well.
• Assisting the team in preparation of the Functional Requirements Documents (FRS) based on the business analysis requirements.
• Preparation of the work effort estimations in man-days, including development, internal QA, SIT, and UAT.
• GAP analysis between the legacy system and the proposed systems.
• Assist in Preparation of the Project plan and attend Project steering committee meetings with clients and stakeholders about the project status and deliverables.
