Job Description

This role manages a technical processes team which includes efficient and effective administration as well as coaching and development of all staff in order to maximise productivity. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through others.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manages daily operational delivery within specific functional area.
• Delivers, maintains and enhances service / work standards and work quality via a team of clerical staff, within a given process.
• Accountable for management of work volumes / flow.
• Development of others through mentorship with focus on employee well-being and upskilling of staff.
• Establishes and maintains client / customer relationships.
• Could take accountability for the implementation of a strand of an operational project.
• Experience in day to day management and assists with financial reporting.
• Strong numerical reasoning, with Retirement Funding knowledge will be an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Project background and knowledge will be preferable
• Strong planning and organising ability, and adherence to work requirements
• Ability to work under pressure and be flexible with a strong focus on problem solving.

Skills And Experience

• 3-5 years experience in leading a team
• Bcomm degree advantageous
• An understanding of business processes, financial systems and their impact on financial reporting and risk will be an advantage
• Decision making and mentoring skills
• Sound Understanding of retirement fund process
