    Talent Coordinator

    Description

    • The Talent Coordinator will be an integral member of the global talent team and will report into the Director, Global Talent. As Talent Coordinator you will support the organisation with end-to-end recruitment and wider talent management initiatives including learning and development, succession planning and proactive sourcing activity. Based in the Rondebosch Cape Town office, you will work closely with managers to understand their hiring and talent needs and will act as subject matter expert when it comes to market insights and talent practices.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Utilising talent systems and platforms to post vacancies and attract the best talent to the organisation
    • Sifting resumes and conducting quality candidate screening calls
    • Partnering with managers at all levels and departments to support them with their talent acquisition and development needs 
    • Maintaining control and responsibility over the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring that KPIs are met and exceeded
    • Advising managers on talent best practice, including interviews, candidate management and quality sources
    • Building relationships with both candidates and managers to ensure a smooth recruitment process
    • Recording data and providing insights to the business
    • Organise, plan and support learning and development activity to support business needs
    • Designing and facilitating training sessions
    • Ongoing maintenance and administration of talent systems and processes 
    • Collaborating with the wider team on new talent initiatives and process improvements

    Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

    • Experience within an in house or agency recruitment role
    • Experience within a fast-paced organisation 
    • A positive, can-do attitude
    • Adaptable to change 
    • Ability to prioritise tasks and use initiative
    • Confident communicator 
    • Process driven, with strong admin and project coordination skills
    • Strong customer service skills
