Job Purpose

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure achievement of deliverables by liaising with relevant internal stakeholders who can assist in achieving deliverables.
• Ensure understanding and meeting ofstakeholder needs through liaising with senior staff and mentors Ensure smooth work flowby buildingconstructive internal relationships Deliver on agreed task by managing colleagues and clients expectations.

Critical Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, test and troubleshoot Elastic clusters and environments
• Maintain and upgrade Elastic clusters and environments
• Perform daily performance monitoring for Elasticsearch clusters and environments
• Create and analyse performance metrics
   

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

• Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

Preferred Qualification

• CompTIA A+ , Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

Minimum Experience Level

• 3-5 years' experience in:
• Elastic search and/or KAFKA product knowledge and experience
• Linux 
• Cloud (MS Azure / AWS)
• Enterprise search domain and search architecture
• DevOps/DevSecOps and CI/CD implementation
• Developing visualizations/dashboards and conducting analyses in Kibana
• JIRA & Confluence
