Systems Analyst at PEP

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: To maintain and develop required enhancements to all 3rd Party Planning Systems and to provide planning information and support to the business, ensuring that the systems and business processes incorporate industry standards and best practices

and to provide technology support to users.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Development and implementation of enhancements to all 3rd Party Planning systems to support the business
• Communication to users regarding systems changes and enhancements
• Facilitate workshops to gather business needs
• Be up to date with industry standards and Planning best practices
• Develop (coding & configuration), test and implement system changes and enhancements
• System analysis and documentation
• Training material development and maintenance
• Facilitation of training workshops
• Provide technical user support
• Project management in collaboration with other stakeholders
• Relationship management of 3rd Party software providers
• Ensure that scheduled process tasks are performed timeously

JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

• Tertiary qualification with Analytical/Commercial or Computer Programming subjects
• Minimum 3 years systems analyst experience
• Technical experience of a Planning Tool (e.g. Enterprise Planning or Allocations from JDA) will be highly advantageous
• Retail planning experience will be advantageous
• Programming experience or knowledge thereof will be highly advantageous
• Computer literacy: Advanced level
• SA citizen
