System Analyst at NWK

As a System Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimising our financial systems and processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and streamlined operations.

Key responsibilities:

•  Conducting an in-depth analysis of existing financial systems, processes, and workflows.
•  Identifying areas for improvement and recommending enhancements to increase efficiency.
•  Working closely with stakeholders to understand their system needs and requirements.
•  Documenting detailed business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
•  Developing and executing test plans to validate the functionality and integrity of financial systems.
•  Identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies through thorough testing and collaboration with IT teams.
•  Providing training and support to end-users, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to use the systems
•  Serving as a point of contact for system-related queries and troubleshooting.
•  Continuously improving user documentation and providing clear instructions for system usage.
•  Collaborating with IT to ensure systems are secure and complying with relevant regulations and policies.
•  Monitoring system access and data integrity to maintain confidentiality and accuracy.
•  Staying updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to financial system security.

Minimum requirements:

•  Preferably an appropriate B degree or similar qualification with a focus on Accounting or Information Technology.
•  A at least one year of relevant system development experience in a computer environment, including knowledge of the total system development life cycle.
•  Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English.
