    Store Planner - Kulis River

    • The pupose of a Store Planner is to optimise sales by ensuring that the right stock in the right quantity is distributed to the right stores at the right time, in accordance with required service level agreements. 
    • If you are self-motivated, passionate about performance, solution-driven and have the high energy level required for this fast-paced, exciting and dynamic retail environment, then this may be for you.

    Qualifications    
    Essential: 

    • A Grade 12 Certificate/Matric 

    Beneficial: 

    • A National Diploma or Degree in Business/Retail Management or Accounting/Finance 

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience    
    Essential: 

    • A minimum of 2-3 years of store planning experience within a retail environment  

    Preferred:  

    • Replenishment planning experience  (1 year) 
    • Previous store management experience (1 - 2 years) 
    • Experience in working with location and allocation planning systems 
    • Previous exposure to and understanding of logistics and supply chain processes 
    • Previous store planning experience within a clothing retail environment  

    KNOWLEDGE required: 

    • Knowledge of the retail merchandise cycle with regards to Buying, Planning, Logistics and Stores   
    • Knowledge of seasonal & non-seasonal replenishments  
    • Knowledge of the SA retail clothing market, customers and competitors   

    SKILLS required: 

    • Sound numerical ability
    • Proficiency in the latest Microsoft applications including Advanced Excel  
    • Effective Analyses Judgement skills 
    • Effective written and oral communication skills

    Key Responsibilities    

    • To ensure the accurate distribution of seasonal stock as well as the seasonal and non-seasonal replenishment stock; to optimize sales. 
    • To deliver seasonal and non-seasonal replenishment profiles at the required product level and to supply inputs to the Seasonal Look for the required visual merchandising; all within the required time-frames. 
    • To deliver a location plan that allows for the clustering of stores at the required product level. 
    • To assist stores in resolving any queries relating to stock and to analyses store performance and provide accurate and timeous information to optimize business  decision making. 
    • To deliver New Store Plans to ensure that new stores are stocked to plan.
