Specialist - Compliance at Orica

What you will be doing

• Supporting the Regulatory Compliance Review process across the region and ensure all agreed actions are closed out in a timely manner;
• Supporting the Regulatory Compliance process for the region;
• Supporting the internal control risk framework through regular reviews of critical process performed within each business unit;
• Supporting local insurance activities on behalf of the Region (e.g. placement and renewal of policies, provision of insurance certificates) and participate / provide information to support international insurance activities;
• Monitoring, reporting and assisting in the close out of action plans generated in Enablon;
• Assisting in Enablon Compliance module training across the Region to enable improved adherence to compliance on sites;
• Performing ad-hoc reviews / investigations as requested by the business;
• Assisting the business in developing formal guidance to support the improvement on Regulatory Compliance.

What you will bring

• Minimum 3 to 6 years’ experience post qualification in Safety and Risk Management;
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders;
• Strong strategic and commercial acumen supported by sound commercial judgement;
• Ability to plan, influence & execute;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to present strategic logic and recommended pathways, coupled with the ability to present to key stakeholders.
