Job Purpose

• The “Analyst” will be responsible for the creation, maintenance and automation of Gaming and Analysis Reports and dashboards, supporting Peermont’s strategic & operational objectives.
• The role will work with a range of stakeholders across Peermont to ensure business requirements are fully understood and the data is presented to the business in a simple and engaging way, whilst making insightful recommendations.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent

Minimum Requirements

• Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas and data manipulating techniques.
• Strong expertise in PowerBi for data visualization and dashboard creation
• Must be able to use SQL to query databases
• Understanding of tabular/multidimensional cubes
• Data analysis
• Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data findings in a clear and understandable manner.
• Experience working with large datasets and conducting statistical analyses
• Proven ability to work in a team-orientated environment.

• Gaming Systems knowledge

Main Resposibilites

• Collect, clean and pre-process data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, formulas, and macros, to conduct in-depth data analyses to generate meaningful reports.
• Develop visually compelling and interactive dashboards in Power BI to effectively communicate data insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and tailor data analyses to address specific needs.
• Maintain and optimize data models in Power BI and Excel for maximum performance and efficiency.
• Conduct statistical analyses to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies within datasets.
• Assist in the training and development of both Gaming and Marketing employees in conjunction with the Gaming and Marketing Management teams.
• Stay abreast of developments in the Gaming industry and of various Games to provide ongoing analysis and opinions.
