Job Function             

• The responsibility of the asset manager is to administer hardware assets throughout their life cycle and to manage all the license and software asset processes to ensure their effective and efficient use in the organization. This includes planning the changes in hardware infrastructure and implementing processes that would facilitate controlling asset acquisition, maintenance, and retirement. The asset manager is also responsible for reconciling hardware inventory with IT assets data managed by financial tools in the company. To control and verify the accuracy of the asset portfolio, the manager initiates internal hardware and software audits. The responsibility of this role also includes producing reports of estimated costs for software assets.   

Must have at least ONE of the following modules within ITIL Intermediate:

1. Service design
2. Service strategy
3. Service Ops
4. Continual service improvement
5. Release chance & validation
6. Service Offering & Agreements
7. Planning, protection & Optimisation             

Service Management - experience
