Senior Specialist - Pricing at Vodafone Global Enterprise

Your responsibilities will include:

Pricing Governance:

• Price Strategy: Developing and implementing effective pricing strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
• Market Analysis: Analyzing market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to make informed pricing decisions.
• Profitability Analysis: Assessing the impact of pricing changes on overall profitability and recommending adjustments as needed.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives.
• Competitive Positioning: Ensuring the company's products or services are competitively priced while maintaining value perception.
• Data Analysis: Utilizing data analytics to derive insights, track performance, and make data-driven pricing decisions.
• Price Optimization: Implementing pricing optimization tools and methodologies to enhance pricing processes and effectiveness.
• Regulatory Compliance: Staying informed about industry regulations and ensuring pricing strategies comply with legal and ethical standards.
• Communication: Effectively communicating pricing decisions and strategies to internal stakeholders and, at times, to customers.
• Overall, the Pricing Senior Specialist will play a crucial role in balancing profitability, market competitiveness, and customer satisfaction through strategic pricing decisions.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
 

• University Degree or equivalent in a Marketing or Finance discipline (postgraduate preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in applying data and insight to customer-focused business problems
• Able to solve problems in complex situations
• Strong technical, analytical, and statistical competencies required
• Ability to build and present business cases to a non-technical audience
• Strong project management skills

• Detailed understanding of governance and decision-making across the business
• Effective stakeholder engagement and relationship-building
• Working knowledge of the fundamentals of financial analysis and budget process
• Thorough understanding of the ICT Market and in particular, Telecommunications products, services, technologies and business processes
