    Senior Salesman - Bellville

    Afinta Parts is searching for a Senior Salesman to join the branch in Bellville, to take responsibility for growing and servicing our European and Japanese customer base in and around the Cape Town region. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 8-10 years' experience in European and Japanese truck parts sales, with extensive knowledge of truck brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Scania, Volvo, MAN, International Hino, Isuzu and UD. The Senior Salesperson will be responsible for maintaining and providing service to our existing customer base, as well as actively scouting for new customers. Excellent telephone skills and computer literacy, particularly in Excel and Word, are essential for this role.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 8-10 years' experience in European and Japanese truck parts sales.
    • Extensive knowledge of truck brands, including Mercedes-Benz, Scania, Volvo, MAN, International Hino, Isuzu and UD.
    • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
    • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
    • Good telephone etiquette and effective communication skills.
    • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Word.
    • Familiarity with CRM software is desirable.
    • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Valid driver's license and own transportation.
    • Matric/ Grade 12

    Key Performance Indicators includes, but not limited to:

    • Develop and maintain relationships with existing European truck parts customers in the JHB region.
    • Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services to existing customers.
    • Actively seek out and engage with potential new European truck parts customers in the JHB region.
    • Conduct market research to identify potential growth opportunities and market trends.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to customers, showcasing the benefits of our products and services.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM software.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies and achieve sales targets.
    • Stay updated with industry knowledge, competitor activities, and emerging market trends.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, such as logistics and procurement, to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
    • Provide regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback to the sales manager.
