Senior React Native Developer - Cape Town at Crypto Banter

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior React Native Developer to join our crypto-focused development team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the specified tech stack and a passion for building innovative crypto-related mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

• Mobile App Development: Lead the development of React Native-based mobile applications for the crypto industry, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and user-friendly design.
• Tech Stack Expertise: Utilize your expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, React, PHP, Express, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Heroku, Fastify, Redis, Prisma, and other relevant technologies to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
• Database Management: Work with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and other database systems to design and optimize database schemas and queries.
• API Integration: Integrate with various APIs and third-party services to provide seamless crypto-related functionalities.
• Deployment: Manage deployment processes using platforms like Heroku and AWS.
• Code Quality: Ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability by following best practices and code standards.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Security: Implement security best practices and stay up-to-date with crypto industry security standards.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers when necessary.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Senior React Native Developer, with a strong portfolio of mobile applications in the crypto or related field.

• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, React, PHP, Express, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Heroku, Fastify, Redis, Prisma, and other specified technologies.
• Familiarity with S3 and AWS is a plus.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) is a nice-to-have.
• Knowledge of Bun JS and MongoDB is a nice-to-have.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
