JOB REQUIREMENTS

SENIOR LECTURER

• Candidate must be in possession of PhD in Sports and Exercise Science.
• 5 years of teaching experience in an Institution of Higher Learning or 7 years of professional experience in the relevant field.
•  At least 5 publications in accredited, peer reviewed   journals, Chapters in a book and book publication
• Evidence of supervision of 5 postgraduate students at Honours level
•   Evidence of supervision of Master or Doctoral students

LECTURER

• Candidate must be in possession of Masters in Sports and Exercise Science.
• 3 years of teaching experience in an Institution of Higher Learning or 5 years of professional experience in the relevant field.

DUTIES

• The successful candidate will accept responsibility for teaching undergraduate students in Sport Science
• The incumbent will be expected to actively participate in research projects and the accompaniment of students in clinical practice.
• If appointed to this position, as a Senior Lecturer, the incumbent will participate in curriculum development
•  Management of students’ records and will provide academic guidance to the students.
