SENIOR LECTURER

• A PhD in Economics
• Five years teaching experience at a tertiary institution or seven years of professional experience in the relevant field
• At least five (5) publications in accredited, peer-reviewed economics-related journals

LECTURER

• A Masters degree in Economics
• Three years of teaching experience at a tertiary institution or five years of professional experience in the relevant field

Duties

• University undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and developing economics courses in the Department, particularly Econometrics, Industrial Economics and Money and Banking
• Pursuing an active research programme, which includes conducting original research in the field of economics, publishing in accredited journals and peer-reviewed books 
• Recruiting and supervising Honours, Masters and PhD students
• Build academic citizenship, including collaboration with national and international external partners and community-engaged academic activities 
• Contributing to the well-being of the Department
