Senior Kofax Developer at Sanlam Group

What will you do?

• Design and implement automation processes primarily using KTA (Kofax Total Agility Platform) and process automation in support of business requirements, software and industry best practices.
• Participate in the development of new offerings and innovation in the automation space
• Carry out development, unit as well as end-to-end testing, and troubleshooting KTA automated processes and solutions.
• Contribute end to end with a Dev / Ops approach to KTA Automation and help in upfront configuration and ongoing administration and support.
• Manage the end-to-end process of implementing automated solutions.
• Support internal and external customers by developing, testing and deploying automation solutions using the KTA platform and where needed other automation technologies.
• Work with analysts to ensure that specifications are appropriately detailed to allow proper workflow design.
• Develop and document the design of the automated workflow.
• Working with the business analyst to document changes to current business practices and assist in process re-engineering and change management planning efforts.
• Support investigation and remediation of production level issues.
• Supports production deployments processes and performance testing.
• Ensures quality by supporting coding and architectural standards and thorough unit testing.
• Review processes with analysts for specification/improvement.
• Follow secure coding standards and processes including SDLC and Change Management.
• Participate in design and peer reviews
• Conduct demos to business partners and stakeholders.
• Supports skills transfer by mentoring new resources on best practices and development.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively within the agile team, remote team, and all supporting teams 
• Mentoring of Junior and Intermediate developers
• Lead strategic projects.

Qualification and Experience

• IT Related Degree or IT Related Diploma 
• 3-5 years of SDLC experience, design, development and deployment of Tungsten Total Agility processes including product customization, implementation and deployment., .NET, and or MSSQL  
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Senior or Technical Lead.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in leading strategic projects.
• KTA Advanced Training Certification preferable.
• Experience with REST API Services. 
• Experience creating and planning workflows.
• Experience with Transformation and Transformation Designer.
• Agile or Scaled Agile Framework certification and experience preferable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Knowledge of various toolsets such as Jira and Azure DevOps will be advantageous.
• Experience using AI, C#, Python an advantage
• Experience using MSSQL an advantage
• Experience in a Dev Ops environment an advantage
• Experience in the Financial Industry an advantage.

Knowledge and Skills

• Proven Specialist in KTA (Kofax Total Agility Platform)
• Proven Experience using Kofax Document Extraction
• Solid understanding of KTA Design Principles and Best practice standards.
• End To End solution support experience preferable.
• Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven experience in enterprise environment, with experience in the insurance / financial sector a plus.
• Highly self-motivated to deliver both independently and with strong team collaboration.
• Strong written and oral communications along with presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in AA360, or UIPath a plus.
• Knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks
