Senior Buyer - Witbank at Glencore

Key Responsibilities

• Processing purchase requisitions timeously and ensuring that the correct supplier is identified.
• Resolving procurement disputes, including quality control and delivery schedules.
• Overseeing the expediting of purchase orders to ensure timeous delivery of goods/services.
• Generating weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports to track productivity, inefficiencies, trends, and opportunities for cost saving.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and provide adequate support.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement process.
• Ensuring accurate procurement records and documentation

Minimum Qualifications

• A Relevant tertiary qualification (Supply Chain/Finance).
• Driver’s license (Code EB/08).

Minimum Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Finance or Supply Chain environment.
• MS Office Proficiency.
• SAP and Coupa Experience
• Legal or contract management experience will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of the procurement procedures
