    Senior Agile Project Manager

    Role Purpose    

    • Manage the overall delivery of projects, from initiation to closeout, to meet the stated business objectives and benefits, in compliance with all relevant Governance, Risk and Audit requirements.

    Requirements    

    • Agile Project Management Experience – Expert level (5 years plus experience)
    • Scrum Master Role (minimum 5 years solid experience with extensive knowledge & experience into Agile disciplines & Ceremonies)
    • End to end Business & IT Project & Programme Management experience (6 years plus)
    • JIRA, Confluence Experience is a must
    • Must be in possession of a Completed NQ level 8 Qualification Bcom Bachelor with added advantage for Post Graduate in PM )
    • Must have a minimum Total Work Experience of over 5 years with 2 years Banking/Insurance Industry related Experience- Essential for the role
    • Must be in possession of professional accreditation, preferably PMP (but could also incl Prince 2 Practitioner, PgMP etc.)
    • Must hold a valid agile practitioner accreditation such as CSM, PSM, AgilePM, Prince Agile

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Ability to Lead, Drive Projects & Operational Delivery (end to end across multiple Teams, Departments, Squads & Suppliers)
    • Strong Level of Governance & Reporting back to Executives & other Product Houses on Project Portfolios critical in terms of the Business Strategy
    • Acumen to drive delivery of the Business Case in line with a sound Execution & Implementation strategy
    • Detailed Level planning across Epics, Releases considering all the intricacies of the business & technology deliverables
    • Drive MVP Delivery: work with Agile Delivery teams & gear the team to keep their focus on taking Quality releasable software increments/capabilities through the SDLC in a 2 week sprint cadence
    • Support the Project & Scrum Team/s in unblocking impediments & Facilitating escalations/ dependencies which may be outside the control of the team
    • Facilitate Steering Committee sessions, progress reporting & Communication across the Company where required for optimal Change/release management
    • Strong Financial Reporting: Ability to measure Project, Resource Cashflow (Target, Actual), Benefits realization as per Business Case
    • Ensure proper project close-out process is followed and ensure adequate handover of systems, processes and relationship management is conducted between the project team and the receiving business team
    • Strict adherence to Governance, CAB disciplines into various approval Boards and tracking of SLAs with 3rd parties on Project deliverables  
    • Strong Collaborator & Relationship Builder who works cohesively with all SMEs within & outside the company to enable delivery
    • Strong negotiator who are able to deal with team conflict and act as remediator to achieve the best outcome for the team and the project
    • Keeps the Customer at the Heart of Delivery
    • Ability to think strategically and see the big picture while already solving for the minute details on the ground to ensure seamless delivery
    • Must be an Analytical thinker who considers & proactively identifies risks, challenges, blockers & works on successful mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of the risks to delivery.
