    Sales Manager

    What you will be doing:

    • Lead and inspire a team of Business Development Consultants (BDC), focusing on building relationships with high net worth individuals and SMEs.
    • Drive sales strategy to meet targets while ensuring an exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint.
    • Identify new growth opportunities and optimise resources to achieve peak efficiency.
    • Champion compliance with legislative standards, consistently meeting audit requirements.
    • Foster a supportive and dynamic team environment, enhancing skills through ongoing training and development.
    • Drive profitable sales growth and maximise the effectiveness of sales channels.
    • Execute innovative sales plans and strategies to expand market presence.
    • Support and develop your team, ensuring they have the resources and environment to thrive.
    • Uphold strong risk management and governance practices, maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.

    What you need:

    • A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial.
    • FAIS Regulatory exams: RE5 (Representatives) and RE1 (Key Individual).
    • 5 years of sales experience and 3 years of management experience in the Short-Term Insurance industry.
    • Extensive knowledge of the Short-Term Insurance Industry, including managing a diverse team.
    • Strong understanding of the insurance industry, business principles, and the sales process.
    • Interpersonal, people management, and conflict resolution skills.
    • Problem-solving, negotiation, and coaching abilities.
    • Proven ability to drive a high-performance culture.
