    Risk Advisory - Risk, Regulatory & Assurance Analytics - Senior Consultant/ Assistant Manager

    Job Description

    • We are looking for Senior Consultants and Assistant Managers to make an impact in our team and at the clients. This role will support the Engagement team in delivery of services to clients on engagements and projects.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Strategic Impact: Support the Engagement team in delivery to the client. Assist in development of client presentations/ discussion documentation. Build business relationships leading to lead generation. Gather information to understand broader offerings of Deloitte and awareness of opportunities for cross-selling. Identify business opportunities at existing clients. Raise ideas to address issues, that may enhance / renew service offerings to clients.
    • Client Impact: Interact with different levels of management and clients. Consult as appropriate on technical and client issues. Handle and resolve minor challenges. Self and team supervision.
    • Operational Effectiveness: Proactively identify client needs and technical issues and propose resolutions to address these. Manage risk in area of engagement in alignment with Deloitte policies. Consistently review and analyse accuracy and quality of own deliverables. Maintain clear communication channels with engagement team members on the work status.
    • Development/ Growth of Team: Share expertise and knowledge with team members and ensure quality and effective delivery of work. Mentor junior team members.
    • Budgets & profitability: Maintain quality and timeous delivery as per the SLA.

    • Ability to develop and execute strategies, architectures, and roadmaps to provide clients with need-based, value-adding, and cost-effective technology and data risk solutions
    • Develops effective and sustainable technology and data risk analytics strategies by tailoring leading frameworks and models based on key clients’ business and technology needs
    • Assesses, designs, and implements holistic and integrated data and analytics solutions that align with client’s business and technology objectives
    • Creates design artefacts to support the development of data architectures, data models, data and analytics solutions
    • Ensures effective implementation of proposed solutions by conducting appropriate testing (e.g., unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing)
    • Understands the interaction of business and technology processes / risks and can explain it in business terms to both technical and non-technical audiences
    • Enhances client’s ability to manage data by designing and implementing comprehensive approaches and solutions
    • Builds functional knowledge within one or two particular technology and data risk domains, while maintaining a general understanding of broader technology and data risk service offerings
    • Is proficient with multiple technology and data risk management products and is able to effectively integrate them to meet and exceed client’s needs.

    • Descriptive analytics (ability to extract insights and trends from data based on requirements)

    • Relevant Technical fundamentals at that point in time to what the market is procuring

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications  

    • BSC Computer Science, BSC Honours Computer Science, BSC Maths Statistics, BEng (all disciplines), BCom (Informatics preferred).

    Desired Qualifications    

    • Master’s degree or certifications and proven analytics training

    Minimum Experience Criteria       

    • Senior Consultant: 4 years of working experience
    • Assistant Manager: 5+ years working experience

    Desired Experience Criteria

    • Senior Consultant: 4+ years’ relevant work experience
    • Assistant Manager: 6+ years’ relevant work experience
