Rigger at Sea Harvest Corporation (Pty) Ltd

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Demonstrate high quality rigging work
• Operate workshop machinery correctly as per safety regulation
• Ability to shift engines
• Must be able to use chain blocks up to 5 tons
• Must know the sizes of all slings and shackles 
• Safely operate and maintain company equipment
• Raise and follow up all corrective action concerning deficiencies during maintenance of installation and production projects.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment when rigging.

POSITION REQUIRMENTS:

• Red Seal qualification
• Marine rigging advantageous
• Ability to assess each job and select the correct equipment.
• Ability to work in high-pressure environment
• Minimum 5 years' experience.
• Not afraid of heights
• Medically fit to work on vessels
• Must be punctual and reliable, positive attitude
• Good time management with tasks
• Understanding and adhering to the company's Health and Safety standards
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
• Work well in a team and follow instructions
• Practice good safety and hygiene standards
