    Retail Expansion Specialist

    What you'll be doing:

    Execute end-to-end processes for retail store openings, aligned with the retail playbook. Conduct financial feasibility & investment analysis for potential store locations. Analyze customer traffic data to inform store site selection. Identify new & innovative store locations. Manage new account openings & prepare stores for launch. Ensure internal alignment & execution of supply chain, brand, category, & marketing priorities. Support channel enablement by coordinating cross-functional teams.

    Key responsibilities:

    New Store Openings

    • Support execution of representative/investor meetings & advanced leasing processes for shopping malls & store owners.
    • Conduct & report necessary analyses for store location approvals.
    • Effectively plan and liaise with vendors in all aspects of store opening execution.
    • Assist in the store approval process, considering customer traffic analysis & architectural requirements.
    • Coordinate communication with representatives, field teams, investors & retail process solution partners.
    • Ensure timely delivery of products, POP/POS materials & other items for store openings.
    • Manage & follow up on the order process for store openings.
    • Support Retail sales channel ERP transition, including implementing central processes & stores.
    • Collaborate to increase retail sales for Avon Justine stores

    Accelerate Retail Expansion

    • Identify & pursue opportunities for opening Avon Justine stores in optimal locations.
    • Implement the store opening action plan and blueprint.
    • Establish a consistent pool of leasable areas within shopping malls for the kiosk project.
    • Manage & expand the representative pipeline for the retail channel, including engaging external investors.
    • Oversee the execution of all operational processes for the retail channel including delivery, installation, supply & maintenance.

    Reporting & Collaboration

    • Track retail targets on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual & annual basis.
    • Provide support to achieve retail goals.
    • Understand and convey the bigger strategic picture and personal benefits to the Rep of joining retail
    • Ensure regular stakeholder engagement on priorities, actions and progress

    Channel Enablement 

    • Conduct regular store visits for monitoring retail playbook compliance.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement monthly channel activities to drive sales &  customer acquisition
    • Train all Retail Reps on channel principles and business rules

    Other

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for franchisees, retailers & solution partners for process questions & requests & provide necessary communication & support for resolving inquiries within the retail department.
    • Actively participate in project-related matters when needed

    Experience & Skills Required

    Education 

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

    Work Experience

    • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Retail, with a preference for expertise in cosmetics and retail execution
    • Proven experience in retail expansion, store openings, or a similar role within the retail industry.

    Skills & Competencies

    • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple stakeholders and processes at various stages.
    • Proficient in English language
    • Skilled in MS Office applications
    • Experienced in new store opening and operational affairs
    • Demonstrates strong negotiation and communication skills
    • Effective team player while able to work independently
    • Excellent project management skills, capable of setting, planning, and achieving goals within deadlines
    • Skilled in multitasking and prioritization 
    • Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
    • Familiar with retail franchise operational dynamics
    • Possesses good interpersonal skills - Failure to successfully manage relationships will have a negative impact on the business’ ability to grow the channel
    • Strong analytical mindset

    Additional Information

    • Must be able to travel often
    • Own car & Drivers license required

    • Investors, Reps & BOs, Centre Management, Scan Display, iKhokha – any other external supplier
