Clover is looking for Research & Deveopment Specialist: Formulation to coordinate product formulation and render technical advice. This position will be based at Clover -Head Office in Roodepoort. 

Requirements    

• Degree
• Relevant experience in applying job related concepts, techniques and processes at the required level
• Business English: Fluent
• Computer literacy (Intermediate)
• Basic understanding of product technology and formulations

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Manage the product formulation process         
• Set up, maintain specifications and provide advice          
• Assist with product formulations        
• Ensure product specifications are recorded on Entropy        
• Provide input for  BOM update        
• Stay abreast of all new developments        
• Do ongoing research on new techniques        
• Advise regarding quality and production issues        
• Liaise with suppliers        
• Ensure compliance to legislative issues        
• Optimize trials        
• Conduct regular branch visits        
• Maintain first-hand knowledge of production        
• Coordinate trials at production facilities and in pilot plant         

Provide training        

• Provide training to colleagues        
• Compile and update training material        
• Provide advice and support to Product Technologists
