Reporting Analyst at Engen

Purpose of the Job

• Gather, collate, interpret and provide management with key financial information on the performance of Engen, to support management strategic decision-making process.

What you’ll have done before:
Baseline:

•     NQF Level 7 (Degree in Finance/Accounting)
•     Minimum 5 years’ experience in Finance
•     Analytical experience demonstrating strong commercial and financial acumen 
•     Advanced Excel knowledge
•     SAP Knowledge

Advantageous:

•     CIMA
•     Experience in SAP environment (CO, FI, BI, BPC)

What you’ll be doing:
ONTHLY MANAGEMENT REPORTING AND VARIANCE ANALYSIS:

•     Prepare monthly management report and presentation content for Executive team (MC, Board and Senior Management), in which business unit performance is analysed, explained and graphically presented.
•     Manage reporting on Engen's highest liquid assets debtors, inventory, creditors and the entire cash cycle to provide insights to net working capital

GROUP WORKING CAPITAL REPORTING, DASHBOARDS & PERFORMANCE TRACKING:

•     Develop and maintain timely and accurate analytical reports and dashboards for measuring and tracking business performance across the Group, with particular focus on working capital management reporting
•     Regular production and distribution of standardised Management Information supporting financial and sales performance, leveraging available information / data across systems to deliver business value add
•     Assist in maintaining the consolidated global reporting dashboard inclusive of KPI's and other measurable metrics
•     Own and build upon the working capital models used for results explanations

BUSINESS OPERATIONS SUPPORT:

•     Undertake special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed
•     Administer database information and develop effective queries to mine data
•     Drive continuous improvement in working capital insights
