    Regional Business Development Manager

    What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

    • As the Regional Business Development Manager, you’ll take charge of driving growth in the Western Cape’s Commercial and Industrial solar sector. You’ll be expected to independently manage the entire sales process, from cold calling to closing deals, with a focus on selling Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and Rent-to-Own solar modules. Your responsibilities will include conducting market research, leveraging your industry network, and developing tailored proposals in collaboration with technical and financial teams. You’ll lead negotiations, secure profitable contracts, and provide regular reports on your business development activities. This role offers the autonomy you crave while being supported by a dynamic team in Johannesburg.

With a strong presence in both South Africa and the Netherlands, they specialise in providing hassle-free solar solutions that eliminate the need for upfront investments by customers.     What you’ll need

    • To succeed in this role, you’ll need at least 4 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, with a proven track record in the Solar Industry. You must demonstrate the ability to independently manage the entire sales pipeline, from initial contact to contract closure, without relying on significant external support. A Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field is preferred, and experience with financing within the renewable energy sector is a plus. You’ll need to be an exceptional communicator in English, with strong computer skills, and the ability to work autonomously. A valid driver’s license and your own vehicle are essential, as this role requires frequent travel within the Western Cape region.
