Quantity Surveyor at Eskom Communications

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or Similar
• Valid Driver’s License

Experience:

• Must have at least 3 years’ experience in Electrical or Civil Construction Industry, related to Quantity Surveying

• Good financial and technical skills with regards to construction work especially civil and electrical.
•  Analytical (attention to details) systematic, logical and process thinking.
•  Good management and organisational skills, ability to manage conflict and change management skills.
•  Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to interact with senior management.
•  Good interpersonal skills
•  Good ability to write reports and presentation clear written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
•  English as preferred language to speak, write and communicate
•  Strong understanding of the electrical or civil construction industry

Knowledge:

• Good knowledge and experience in measuring of construction work and quantity surveying
• Good knowledge and understanding of the NEC suite of documents
• Good knowledge and understating of the SABS/ SANS 1200 document
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office suite, scheduling Software, Financial systems
