Job Description

Responsible for quality control of product and assisting with grading of maize at Simba plant, supervising of personnel on the Simba plant

Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate
• Experience in the laboratory or any science field will serve as an advantage
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
• Maize Grading course 
• Computer literate
• Clear Criminal Record
• Physically Fit
• Willing to work long hours

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist and conduct Maize grading according to regulations and standards
• Receive weighbridge slips - check tons and complete production statements
• Ensure the correct loading, unloading and quantities of products
• Report any discrepancies of the quality of maize to direct Supervisor
• Collect samples of maize products on arrival at GWK
• Smooth running of general operation ensuring safety at all times, protecting people, product, equipment and structure.
• Handle client enquiries and provide timely feedback for possible solutions.
• Be a GWK ambassador and a good team player.
