    Program Manager- Infrastructure Services and Facilities Management

    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • The incumbent will be engaged under the incubation project/ programme framework management responsible for initiation, planning and implementation of allocated infrastructure projects for National, Provincial and municipal clients.
    • The role will entail management of performance of project team to ensure that projects are implemented applying the principles of project management which includes quality, timeframes, budget parameters, consultant and contractor service delivery agreements.
    • Ensure compliance with any relevant and applicable legislation.
    • Prepare individual project reports on status, expenditure, variations, delays, etc on allocated projects and submit to the Snr: Programme Manager Infrastructure and Facilities Services.
    • Continuous monitoring and evaluation of project performance to ensure delivery of project objectives and retention of existing clients. Risk management to identify and mitigate risk for project success. 

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

    • Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent in-Built Environment, professional accreditation will an added advantage (Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Engineering). 
    • At least 7 years relevant experience in the built environment on infrastructure projects and/or facilities maintenance / management of which 3 years should be at supervisory or consultancy level. 
    • An in-depth understanding of facilities management and/ or Infrastructure programme management, advanced project and maintenance management, sound understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and its application to the built environment; as well as working with multi-disciplinary teams is a pre-requisite. 
    • The incumbent will be engaged under the incubation / project programme framework
