Job Purpose
The Department of Transport and Public Works, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent Engineer to perform all aspects of varied innovative and complex engineering activities that result in progress in technology and engineering applications. This post is based in Cape Town, CBD.

Remuneration
Grade A: R 750 696 - R 801 105 per annum; Grade B: R 846 429 - R 911 862 per annum; Grade C: R 967 809 - R 1 140 018 per annum (OSD as prescribed).
Note on remuneration: Cost-to-employer (CTE) remuneration packages for certain occupation-specific dispensations (OSD) are inclusive of all costs related to service benefits or obligations including basic salary, 13th cheque, medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc. Where remuneration is not indicated as CTE, employees' service benefits or obligations are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.
