Production Manager at AECI Limited

Job Description    

• Management of multiple production plants
• Safe execution of all activities in the plants
• Manage and execute plant shutdown activities
• Responsible to lead and manage allocated areas to produce relevant product streams
• Develop, manage and ensure execution of tactical plan
• Ensure the effective management and development of people within allocated area
• Business Risk planning and management
• Support in continuous business improvement
• Compliance with governance and compliance policies and procedures
• Compliance with Safety, Health, Environment, Social and pertinent Governance standards

Qualifications & Experience    

• B.Eng/BSC in Chemical Engineering or a suitable Engineering degree
• 5 - 8 Years demonstrated production plant experience (chemical preferred) 
• Knowledge of the OHS Act and associated regulations 
• Process safety management of plant operations
• Understanding of best engineering principles, practices and standards
• Knowledge of production processes and related maintenance in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Technical Risk Management 
• Administration and Financial Management skills
• A good understanding and knowledge of safety standards, engineering standards, quality management and the production processes Knowledge of Human Resources e.g. industrial relation, recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, rewards discipline etc.
• Associated in-process and batch plant experience with solids handling exposure
