    Product Partnership Manager

    Job Description
    Job Purpose:

    • Identity, analyse, filter and pursue business opportunities and partnerships to expand and enhance the B2C hearing aids, product and services offering as part of the product development roadmap.
    • Within our context at hearX, a Product Partnership Manager is akin to a Business Developer, but on the product development side of the business (working with manufacturer and technology partners to find new product opportunities), rather than on the Sales side of the business (working to identify new retail partners and revenue channels).

    Remote Working:

    • 2 days work-from-home in line with Company Policy (only applicable after probation is successfully passed)

    Minimum education (essential):

    • B. Communication Pathology in Audiology (or equivalent)

    Minimum education (desirable):

    • Qualification in Marketing, Communications, or similar

    Minimum applicable experience (years):

    • 5 years

    Required nature of experience:

    • Working with audiology and audiological treatment and tools (e.g hearing aids)

    Product Strategy Management (30%)

    • Understand the current objectives, product roadmap, and details of the hearX product suite.
    • Research and keep abreast of current and future technology trends, customer needs, sales data, key players, and emerging businesses primarily within the fast-moving and evolving hearing solutions, hearing aid, and audiological technology industries.
    • Compile and present new ideas and product development strategies for product and partner growth opportunities to the product development team (taking into consideration commercialization, regulatory, legal, and operational aspects)
    • Work with Sales and Marketing teams regarding customer insights, key differentiators and messages and to ensure alignment between product development and marketing and sales strategies

    Product Business Development (40%)

    • Identity relevant manufacturers/partners/stakeholders to be contacted and pursued in terms of potential business opportunities and partnerships.
    • Establish, manage, and maintain, strategic relationships with potential partners such as manufacturers, technology companies, developers, research labs, accelerators, incubators, etc
    • Work with the product development team where needed to assess, select, define, and progress to ready-to-implement product and technology options and partnerships (not just opening the door, but seeing the opportunity through to conclusion).
    • Ensure efficient implementation of business and opportunity development processes and strategies within the product development team

    Project and Product Management (10%)

    • Take personal ownership of product development roadmap and objectives as well as contribute to team development and the hearX ecosystem as a whole.
    • Efficient and effective reporting on plans, strategies, progress, prioritization, decisions, risks, and tasks to the Product Owner
    • Ensure good working relationships, alignment, and collaboration within the PD team and with the broader B2C stakeholders
    • Accomplish objectives by establishing plans, budgets and results; reviewing progress and making mid-course corrections to ensure optimal outcomes.

    Documentation (20%)

    • Compile and manage documentation (proposals, strategy documents, etc.) that are of high quality and intuitive/easy to understand
    • Apply, manage, and improve quality standards and processes for product development documentation
