Job Description

• To coordinate, monitor and execute operational procurement work within established frameworks and policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• National Diploma: Supply Chain Management / Procurement.
• 2-3 years’ experience in Procurement / Supply Chain.
• Procurement Processes.
• Administration and organisational skills.

Minimum work experience:

• Ensure all commercial activities within the Procurement Department have been ratified in terms of legal and financial requirements
• Ensure the supply to site is done with the shortest possible lead time, using best quality, best price and best practice
• Manage and maintain CHG’s supplier database in collaboration with cross functional team members
• Take a proactive approach to risk management, ensuring risks and issues are identified, addressed and reported and, where appropriate, escalated
• Identify innovative ways to improve business practices, processes and synergies to save costs, increase efficiencies and improve service delivery
• Effectively manage supplier queries.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve procurement objectives
• Implement, manage, and report on cost improvement objectives and communicate or escalate any shortfalls
• Develop audit reports and contribute towards the development of reporting standards across the function
• Analyse information and reports to identify trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies
