    Principal Specialist Enterprise CVM Systems and Data Monetisation

    Role Purpose
    The Principal Specialist Enterprise CVM Systems and Data Monetisation Role is based within the Enterprise Business Unit.
    The Purpose of the Principal Specialist Enterprise CVM Systems and Data Monetisation:

    • Enterprise CVM Data & Systems steward to scale CVM Base management & Monetise Data campaigns
    • Define VB data-driven base growth use cases delivered through leveraging Vodacom’s vast data assets & external sources
    • Enable the delivery of revenue driven through CVM tools and new CVM Product development across the direct & indirect channel, achieved through:
    • Using aggregated data to define the use cases for auto-CVM targeting of customers for account level Upsell & fixed cross sell
    • Enabling the data monetisation opportunities for new digital offerings (CVM products) and converged solution plans with incremental revenue
    • Define & maintain the Enterprise Decision Scoring that integrate with core channels to improve cross-sell & upsell conversion rates
    • Executing agreed initiatives through matrix teams, including partners, IT, BI, Commercial, Finance and Big Data teams and Managing Executive level
    • Identifying & consolidating data features that enables VB to extract incremental value from the existing base & minimized churn to targeted level threshold
    • Implement VB Customer Analytical Record (CAR) that forms the basis for Hyper-personalisation and insights-driven actions to minimise churn & achieve NPS lead:
    • Implement Just for Enterprise CVM System leveraging Big Data recommendation systems & VB CAR
    • Own the CVM campaign tooling for the direct and the indirect partners Business that integrates across front-end systems for scale
       

    Key Activities
    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Design and implementation of the Decision Scoring Engine that minimizes dilution
    • Develop quarterly data use cases for CVM monetisation & new product / digital offerings (bundles, converged, etc)
    • Consolidate all NPS related data to drive actions across front-send systems
    • Design insights dashboard that significantly improves our knowledge of Enterprise customer and channel behaviour, and opens new commercially viable opportunities for Enterprise Churn, Revenue and Margin improvement
    • Implementation VB Mobile & Fixed lifecycle data flow that informs CVM execution
    • Automate CVM Campaigns end-to-end
    • Deliver through Big data and Analytics: identify opportunities to reduce churn through customer data/feature improvements and optimisation
    • Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data, third party platforms to drive business solutions.
    • Provide leadership, planning, CVM data-driven commercial direction in the most cost effective manner
    • Development and coaching of skills within the CVM Systems & Data team to ensure growth and business continuity

    • Management of budget for additional data assets
    • Automation of CVM lifecycle campaigns across the Partner Base

    • Management of data flow & migration to big data environment
    • Data Steward for VB
    • Delivery Campaigns Strategy Automation that supports agile campaigns delivery across LoB.
       

    Typical Outputs

    • Implementation of Enterprise CVM Decision Scoring Engine on the IBM systems
    • Data Monetisation use case development – for product development
    • Opportunity Hub across partners & the direct managed bases
    • Cadence with Data teams across Vodacom to ensure Best Practice
    • Drive deployment of CVM Campaigns across front end and online
    • Regular/scheduled CVM tools & data reports
    • ROI KPI’s on data assets & campaign automation acquired
    • Best Practice sharing with other Opco’s
       

    Technical Qualifications And Experience
    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Matric
    • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in Analytics.
    • A 3 year Degree in Information Systems, Quantitative or Equivalent qualification.
    • MBA advantageous
    • Postgraduate degree in the relevant field will be an advantage.
       

    Experience

    • A minimum of 8 years relevant working experience in a commercial environment– essential
    • Strong Analytically with business acumen
    • Insights-driven product development
       

    Tools Of Trade

    • Process improvements, Data Bases, SQL
    • Microsoft tools & QlikSense BI tools
       

    Competencies & Skills

    • Building of business cases and obtaining buy-in from senior stakeholders
    • Reporting & tracking campaigns across different channels – essential
    • Multi-stakeholder engagement
    • A good understanding of converged and networking technologies and services – an advantage.
    • Understanding of application ML in Direct marketing.
    • Demonstrated understanding of important financial concepts, the IT&T environments, purchasing practices and industry specific aspects of corporate customers – an advantage.
