    Principal Software Engineer (React/TypeScript/NodeJS)

    Job summary

    • As Principal Software Engineer you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining the frontend of our web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable web applications that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

    What you will do 

    • Collaborate in an Agile cross-functional team, providing feedback and estimates in stand-ups, design sessions and other ceremonies.
    • Analyse, troubleshoot, and debug product defects; deliver timely solutions to customer issues with a client-centric approach.
    • Write good quality code adhering to standards and design patterns.
    • Doing code reviews and mentoring.
    • Writing tests and documentation
    • Willingness to change and adapt to your environment.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    What you will have 

    • 8+ years of frontend development experience.
    • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience and training.
    • Experience working with React, Typescript, and NodeJS
    • Material UI (MUI) (advantageous)
    • Testing tools like Jest or Mocha
    • Experience working on Single-Page Application and integrating with REST endpoints.
    • Experience in writing reusable components
    • Experience using source and version control and working in an CI/CD environment
    • Understanding of asynchronous request handling and partial page updates
    • Passionate about software engineering best practices, coding quality and standards
    • High performance individual who is persistent and self-motivated to accomplish tasks
    • Detail-orientated, quick learner, and problem solver
    • Strong interpersonal skills
