Postdoctoral Research Fellowship (1- Year Contract) at University of the Free State

Duties and responsibilities:

• Conduct innovative research in the above-described tasks.

Eligibility requirements:

• Candidates should have completed their Doctoral studies within the past 5 years or can show proof of pending graduation in 2023.
• Applications from South African and international candidates are welcomed. 
• Candidates may not hold full-time salaried employment during the tenure of the award. 

The following intellectual/experience background will be preferred:

• A solid understanding of field-based experiments and camera-trapping techniques
• Experience working at the interface between humans and wildlife.
• Able to manage & manipulate large datasets.
• Excellent data analysis and writing skills.
• It is strongly recommended that the Fellow have a valid drivers’ license.
