    Portfolio Manager Life

    Role Purpose    

    • To market Guardrisk’s Life products and services to existing and prospective clients and to provide after-sales servicing to existing clients.

    Requirements    

    • Matric
    • B.Com degree and/or Insurance qualification
    • FAIS credits (60 minimum)
    • 5-10 years’ experience in the insurance industry
    • Technical knowledge with strong people skills to negotiate optimal solutions with our various partners

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Marketing of Guardrisk Life products to prospective new clients, focusing on employee benefits and / or third-party risks, e.g. group funeral , credit life, individual life and investment-related products
    • Marketing/cross-selling of Guardrisk Life products to existing clients
    • Assessing risk, evaluating relevant cell and reinsurance structures
    • After-sales servicing: accounting, administration, investments, reinsurance, market conduct and client queries
    • Drafting and issuing of relevant promotional documentation on Guardrisk Life, its products and services
    • Setting up internal processes for each client with all relevant parties and technical areas
    • Developing and marketing of concepts and products focusing on third-party risks (e.g. group funeral, credit life products) and / or employee benefits
    • Enhancing of internal procedures, rating and reinsurance capabilities
    • Ensuring compliance with all relevant statutes, regulations and guidance
    • Network on industry matters
