Photographer (Junior to Mid | 6 months) Cape Town at Maskew Miller Learning

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Photograph a variety of objects, people and scenery as briefed.
• Set up and adjust studio lighting and equipment to achieve desired effects.
• Ensure all images are captured in high resolution and meet company standards.
• Collaborate closely with the product, design and marketing teams to understand project requirements.
• Edit and retouch images as needed using Adobe Photoshop or similar software.
• Organize and maintain an efficient workflow for photographing and editing product images.
• Assist in the organization and management of the digital image library.

Educational Requirements

• Relevant degree or diploma
• Alternatively, proven industry experience relevant to the position

Experience Requirements

• + 2 years experience in related field
• Portfolio of evidence

Skills and Competencies

• Proven experience with studio photography setup, including lighting techniques and equipment.
• Proficiency in digital photography and knowledge of DSLR cameras.
• Strong understanding of composition, color, lighting, and visual aesthetics.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to take direction.
