    People Experience Director

    About the job

    Reporting to the CHRO, you lead the Tiger Brands People Experience Centre of Excellence (CoE) whose accountability includes Talent Acquisition and Management, Learning, Leadership Developmentt, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Culture Transformation, Organisational Change, Employee Value Proposition, and Employer Brand. In this role, you lead a team of deep experts in these areas to shape and execute fit-for-purpose business solutions that enable Tiger Brands to ignite its people, teams and the organisation to win in the market. As part of the Group HR Executive team, you play a pivotal role in partnering with our leaders and people across the organisation to holistically bring the three pillars of our people strategy – TALENT,LEADERSHIP and GREAT PLACE TO WORK, to life so that every single Tiger is inspired to perform, grow, thrive, innovate and bring their “A” Game to Tiger every day in pursuit of achieving our purposes.

    What you will do:

    • Partner with leaders across the organisation to develop and execute an integrated people experience framework, business solutions, and tools that enable Tiger Brands to bring its unique signature employee experience to life
    • Conduct international benchmarking and leverage best practices to “grow our own timber” through leading the building of a diverse agile talent base, core capabilities, and future skills across all our businesses, and developing leaders that inspire winning performance
    • Lead the Talent Acquisition Hub to enable Tiger Brands to attract, build robust internal and external talent pipelines, source the best talent in the market to execute its business and growth strategy
    • Shape and lead the execution of Tiger’s young talent and early careers programmes to enable the building of robust talent pipelines for the future
    • Enhance and embed Tiger’s compelling Employee Value Proporsition and Employer Brand ensuring that Tiger attracts, develops, and retains key talent across the organisation
    • As a catalyst for culture change, partner with leaders to further steer and champion he culture transformation journey that Tiger is on to create a great place to work that energizes the whole organisation to be consumer-obsessed, agile, innovative, and execution-focused
    • Lead the execution of our integrated Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion agenda ensuring that Tiger is able to leverage diversity as a lever for advancing the group's growth and innovation agenda.
    • Own key relationships with vendors, service providers, regulators, industry bodies and other key stakeholders in the people experience space
    • Lead the development and execution of technologies that enable world-class delivery in the People Experience space across the organisation

    Qualifications

    • B Degree or equivalent, a post-graduate degree would be a further advantage
    • At least 15 years Business/HR CoE and Business Partnering experience in large, complex, geographically dispersed organisations

    • Strategic thinking capability and ability to develop and integrate concepts as well as translate them into executable business solutions and tools that enable the organisation
    • Strong leadership skills and demonstrated track record for leading self, people, performance, innovation and partnerships as ell as the ability to navigate complexity
    • Ability to influence, network with internal and external stakeholders
    • Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionality and across the organisation
    • Strong analytical skills and commercial edge
    • Design thinking, agile project management and deep change management capability
    • Expertise and experience in the majority of areas led by the People Experience CoE team – Talent, Learning, Leadership Development Culture Transformation, DEI and Organisational Change
