Payroll Benefits Specialist at Quest Staffing Solutions

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage the full payroll function (end-to-end) for South Africa, Zambia, and Mauritius.
• Address all first-tier benefits and payroll queries from internal customers (staff, HODs, expats, and third parties).
• Administer benefits (medical, pension, etc.).
• Handle payroll reporting.
• Consult on medical aid, pension, and benefits with employees and service providers during engagement, induction, terminations, and provide regular communication/updates.
• Manage the monthly payroll cycle and ad hoc pay runs.
• Maintain the Payroll & Benefits data hub.
• Manage the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) offering, plan functions, and coordinate wellness programmes.
• Handle asset management for benefits (e.g., mobile phones, SIM cards, staff vouchers).
• Address all first-tier employee queries and support requests.
• Complete month-end reporting and statutory submissions.
• Perform payroll reporting.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Relevant HR or Finance diploma/degree.
• Relevant payroll qualification/certificates.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of payroll administration experience.
• Knowledge of payroll systems (SAGE is an advantage).
• Experience in benefits administration (advantageous).
