Parent Seed Conditioning Planner/Scheduler at Corteva Agriscience

Job Description

• As Conditioning Planner/Scheduler you will be responsible for planning the Parent Seed conditioning sequence with the area section leader, coordinating the process orders and all other documentation in the area.

You Will Be Part of Growing Team

• The Parent Seed Team in Rosslyn processes Parent Seed. This involves the receiving of wet harvests, drying, shelling, cleaning, sizing, treating, packing, storing, and issuing of maize and sunflower seeds for planting.

Your Challenge:

• Plan/Schedule processing sequence with Conditioning section leader
• Coordinate and execute Process Order process in SAP R/3
• Perform EHS Core Permit duties within Parent Seed
• Perform in-process seed sampling and quality analysis
• Detail oriented and accurate completion of Parent Seed documentation incl preliminary certificates

Key Stakeholders and Interactions:

• You will work within the Parent Seed Rosslyn Team, but more specifically with the Conditioning section leader and the Conditioning team members. Interaction is also required with all internal Parent Seed teams including the Dryer/Sheller, Quality and Warehouse.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/Grade 12
• 5 years’ experience within a Seeds Processing plant
• SANSOR Authorised Seed Sampler
• SAP R/3 proficiency
• MS Office proficiency
