    Operations Risk Admin Manager

    Job Description

    • Are you ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role? We have an exciting opportunity for you at our Support Centre in Kuilsriver as an Operations Risk Admin Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a consistent and comprehensive service to the Operations Teams within Ackermans, focusing on Operational Risk, Security, Safety, and Loss Prevention.
    • Your efforts will be key in supporting the achievement of strategic business goals and ensuring high standards of Operational governance, as well as compliance with laws, regulations, and acts.

    KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

    • Labour Law (Basic conditions of employment, Labour Relations act, OHASA act)
    • Trade and Industry (Consumer Protection Act) 
    • Store systems and processes (Trilogy – Process, Admin, Risk = System)

    EXPERIENCE:

    Essential:

    • Minimum 6 years retail experience of which 3 years in a senior operations capacity.
    • Understanding of the Criminal procedure 
    • IR processes
    • Understanding of Processes, Systems and SOP’s

    Preferred:

    • Forensic investigation methods around systems and procedures.
    • Criminal investigation methodologies

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Essential:

    • Retail Management Diploma
    • Business School/ University programs in Risk and Loss Prevention/ Forensics

    Preferred:

    • Three-year Diploma/ Degree Labour Law/ Criminal Law

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Deliver on Operational Risk, Security/ Safety and Loss prevention strategy:

    • Implementation (Internal/ External)

    Operational Governance: Management of Operational Risk (Statistical and Analysis Reports) and Loss Prevention

      • § Percentage improvement on audit results

      • § Percentage unit loss improvement on shrinkage results
      • § Stockloss low budget
    • Incident investigation and prevention planning
      • § Stores
      • § Support Centre
    • OHASA legislation and compliance and management reporting

    • Research and development aligned with operations business plans and activities - approved
