    Operations & Maintenance Manager

    What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

    • As the O&M Manager, you will supervise a team of service/maintenance technicians and service administrators, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality service delivery. You’ll manage customer support by addressing inquiries, concerns, and service requests, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to maintain high customer satisfaction. Your role includes developing and implementing maintenance plans for optimal solar installation performance, coordinating preventive maintenance activities, and ensuring the execution of maintenance tasks. You will also ensure compliance with SLAs, review metering reports for efficient billing, establish quality standards, conduct regular audits, and implement corrective actions. Additionally, you will maintain accurate service records and generate performance reports to identify opportunities for service optimisation.

    What you’ll need

    • To excel in this role, you should have a Matric certificate and ideally a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. You must have at least 8 years of experience in a service support and maintenance environment, with knowledge of electrical systems and solar PV technology being advantageous. Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role with demonstrated leadership abilities is essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required, along with proficiency in project management tools, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
