Qualification(s):

National Diploma in Safety Management or Environmental Health or B-Tech in above disciplines

Experience:

• 3 Years related experience. Experience in fire and emergency management, contractor management, occupational hygiene and safety

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate multi-disciplinary work groups to compile risk specific Occupational Hygiene and Safety
• Implement, enhance and maintain Occupational Hygiene and Safety programs within the parameters of legal requirements, OHSAS 18001, standards, procedures and processes
• Provide professional advice and guidance with respect to Occupational Hygiene and Safety risks and to implement and monitor control measures
• Analyse and assess business needs with respect to Occupational Hygiene and Safety risks and to implement and monitor control measures
• Develop, implement and monitor Occupational Hygiene and Safety audits and reviews
• Ensure legislative and business risks created by incidents managed
• Develop and advise on implementation and evaluation of Occupational Hygiene and Safety management processes for employees, members of the public, suppliers and contractors/projects
• Development, implementation and monitoring of Occupational Hygiene and Safety standards, procedures, systems and processes
