    Officer Knowledge Management

    OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY: The role is responsible for implementing and monitoring knowledge management and innovation strategies to support PPRA's information management objectives. This includes liaising with stakeholders involved in research and related processes.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Marketing, Communications, Project Management, or Business Administration.
    • Minimum of two years’ working experience in a similar environment.
    • Knowledge of the PPRA regulatory framework and environment.
    • Strong customer service skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience in project management.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer) at an intermediate level.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Act as the central point for distribution and safeguarding of the organisation’s information and knowledge.
    • Conduct benchmarking and research on the latest developments in knowledge management, consulting with professionals to share best practices.
    • Implement and ensure compliance with norms and standards for information and knowledge management within the organisation.
    • Preserve and maintain both archival (historic) and contemporary information for reference.
    • Develop and maintain interactive and electronic databases and record-keeping mechanisms for PPRA.
    • Gather feedback from stakeholders to improve and optimize service delivery.
