    Multimedia Officer

    Why You?

    The Multimedia Officer supports the operations of the WCPP by raising awareness and marketing the organization through various media channels, including video, photography, graphic design, and other electronic media.

    The Multimedia Officer will be recognized as the subject matter expert responsible for overseeing standard core multimedia processes, which include but are not limited to:

    • Graphic design
    • Maintaining and developing the corporate social media presence
    • Capturing and editing photos and videos
    • Managing artwork, photo, and video archives and libraries
    • Administering corporate identity

    WCPP has adopted a hybrid working model and, therefore, requires individuals who are resilient, self-managing, and effective in dealing with ambiguity.
    To be considered, you need to meet the following requirements:

    • You need a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline and 5 years of relevant experience.

    You will be a great fit if you possess the following skills and competencies:

    • Mid-level graphic design and conceptualization skills.
    • Advanced writing skills (policies, memorandums, letters, social media posts).
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.
    • Advanced knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram.
    • Proficiency in photography and videography.
    • Strong presentation skills.
    • Effective verbal communication skills.
    • Computer proficiency in MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint.
    • Project management skills.
    • Analytical skills.
    • Time management skills.
    • Organizational skills.
    • Numerical skills.
    • Problem-solving skills.

    Primary key responsibilities for the Multimedia Officer include, but are not limited to:

    Graphic Design

    • Conceptualize and create digital graphics in compliance with WCPP corporate identity.
    • Compile layouts for minor publications, such as brochures, fact sheets, z-fold pamphlets, etc.
    • Develop and maintain a library of corporate stationery.
    • Customize corporate stationery for different operational areas.
    • Create additional corporate stationery as needed.
    • Develop and maintain an artwork library.

    Photography

    • Capture official portrait photographs for use on all digital and print platforms.
    • Photograph events for use on all digital and print platforms.
    • Create stock photos for use in publications and other media.
    • Edit photos as necessary.
    • Maintain the photo library and archive.

    Videography and Audio

    • Capture and manage all official videos for the WCPP for use on all platforms.
    • Edit videos to align with their intended purpose and platform.
    • Record and edit audio clips/sound bites to align with their intended purpose and platform.
    • Maintain video and audio libraries and archives.

    Social Media

    • Administer corporate social media presences.
    • Develop content and post to corporate social media platforms.
    • Ensure social media messaging remains current.
    • Advise on the use of specific social media platforms and the latest trends to ensure the social media strategy remains relevant.
    • Conceptualize and develop content for social media adverts according to requirements and the platform to be used.
    • Coordinate with service providers for placing social media adverts.
    • Maintain accurate statistics of all social media activity.
    • Draft a social media plan for each financial year.
    • Schedule livestream events on relevant platforms.

    Corporate Identity

    • Maintain the corporate identity.
    • Maintain and update the corporate identity manual.
    • Manage a library of corporate identity artwork and elements.
    • Ensure consistent and compliant application of the corporate identity throughout the organization.
    • Provide guidance on the application of corporate identity.

    Administrative

    • Maintain statistical information regarding performance.
    • Maintain evidence to support compliance reporting requirements.
