Miner General at Sibanye-Stillwater

Minimum Required Qualification:

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification, Blasting certificate.

The Appointee should:

• Metalliferous Mining Blasting Certificate, Atleast 5 years mining production experience

Advantageous Qualifications:

• Team Leader experience in production areas will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure team members adhere to PPE requirements, Participate in required SHE meetings, interventions and campaigns, Ensure compliance to Mine Standards and Procedures, Conduct risk assessments, Conduct daily re-entry exams, Identify reef band and mark face as per geological reports, Charging up of the face and safe blasting.
• Communicate daily plans to the crew, Manage performance and development of crew members, Achieve production requirements and efficiencies.
