• Managing & servicing existing customer base
• Ensure that customer complaints are dealt with in an effective manner and resolved.  Promotions, advertising and all public relations must be co-ordinated for the store in order to enhance the Brand's market share in line with all company procedures
• Provide excellent customer service
• Achieve sales and gross profit targets timeously 
• Effective administration and reporting
• Assisting with receiving and merchandising of stock
• Responsible for Maintaining stock held at all times in clean and good condition
• Follow-up on leads quoted
• Placing all stock, immediately upon receipt thereof from the receiver, in the correct location and bin 

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position
• 1 year’s shelf packing/merchandising experience
• Knowledge of general building material environment is essential
• Proven success in personal selling (achieving sales targets), customer service finding new business (customer) and converting it to actual sales.
• Ability to manage and coordinate regular stock takes
• Interact with customers
