    Media Optimisation & Planning Specialist

    Job Description 

    This role also has accountability for planning, driving and aligning the execution and optimisation of media activities within Sage’s media strategy to drive demand for our solutions and establish Sage as a thought leader. This needs to be founded on data, analysis, and insights which inform every marketing decision and action, enabling us to best target and nurture the right audience at the right time, with the right message, and through the right channels, in order to maximise market share growth and return on marketing investment, keep our customers for life and win on our market

    Key Responsibilities Key Accountabilities

    • Developing regional media plans aligned to our One Sage approach. Spanning from brand insight and audience targeting, through to budgeting and media mix modelling, specifically for our small business audience
    • Establishing great relationships with the campaign managers to drive local country media campaigns.
    • Maintaining a strong working relationship with the global media agency to ensure advanced targeting and optimisation tactics are used and that goals are being met in the most cost efficient manner.
    • Work closely with Global Media Planning Managers to develop truly global plans that can effectively be executed locally across the region.
    • Partnering with paid search, localisation, social and marketing operations teams to ensure delivery of seamless, integrated campaigns.
    • Execution of the paid search strategy across the region
    • Ensuring that the planning, briefing, procuring, optimising and evaluating of all media campaigns is undertaken to a high standard.
    • Working within a consistent media measurement, attribution and reporting framework globally.
    • Driving qualified traffic and conversions across local business segments, and maximising media performance around Sage’s business KPIs.
    • Target audience planning and prioritisation, and provide strategic insights into performance drivers.
    • Keeping abreast of latest trends and innovations in media across Africa & Middle East

    Skills, Know-how And Experience

    • Significant demonstrable experience in digital marketing and working on local multi-tiered media campaigns.
    • A proven ability of developing, implementing & executing media plans across Africa and the Middle East
    • Passion for advertising and display industry developments and demonstrable experience of the latest innovations in media buying, data management, dynamic personalisation and targeting.
    • Analytically minded, with proven history of analysing country/product media campaigns through to conversion and revenue. With experience on GA360
    • Ability to analyse all points of ad inventory - impressions, revenue, fill rates, as well as eCPMs in Real Time Bidding (RTB) environment.
    • Great communicator who can build strong relationships with stakeholders globally, think strategically, and positively influence business direction.
    • Experience working with the DoubleClick technology stack, specifically DoubleClick Campaign Manager and DoubleClick Bid Manager
    • Proven expertise in optimising in-flight digital media activity, across Paid Search, Display and Video channels
    • Exposure to media strategies to support ecommerce businesses.
    • Familiar with different types of targeting such as audience targeting, lookalike modelling, and search retargeting.

    Technical / Professional Qualifications

    • BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
    • Strong digital background
    • Proficiency in English language, verbal and written.

    • Subscriptions/Revenue Direct reports
