Key Output

• Accurately diagnose and repair machine and generators.
• Ensure machines and generators are maintained to meet all manufacture service requirements.
• Effective self -management and performance ownership
• Identification, reporting and feedback on product problem and implement corrective measures.
• Build and sustain excellent customer relationships.
• To sell parts and service to internal and external customers.
• To provide specialist advise on all customer’s requirements and implement corrective measures.
• Must have generator experience.
• Must be able to rebuild components and large generator engines.
• Must be able to remove and install generator alternators and be able to do alignment.
• Must be flexible to work away from home and to work in Lesotho.

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Qualification in relevant trade (e.g Diesel Mechanic/Earth Moving Equipment Mechanic) NQF 3
• Computer literate
• CAT Machine specific technical knowledge and skills
• Sound interpretation of communication skills
• Basic technical report writing
• Basic business and financial understanding
• Some Computer literacy (SIS, STW & ET) knowledge
• Applicable product knowledge, failure analysis and customer orientation
• Driver’s license – Code B
• Understanding of supplier warranty system, policies & procedure
